Black: Why can’t people stick to schedules? It doesn’t make sense to me that when an event is advertised, that people can’t start and end when they are supposed to. Sometimes, outreach is a terrible thing. I won’t elaborate for fear of persecution or upsetting someone, but when you are provided, free of charge, a building and staff to host an event in, the least you can do is start on time. People have schedules and other things that they are involved in. It’s not fair to make their world stop. And then a Highmat CD get shoved in my face. 3 minutes after we start.
White: I wonder why people don’t share love of community? People need- especially right now. Lots of people. There are a few out there that just want to do good and help those who are less fortunate. Why would anyone want to hamper it? For no particular reason, people decide that helping others isn’t what they want OTHER people to do, just because they don’t want “those kind of people” near them. When will they realize that there’s more to life than driving their Hummers and putting in new hardwood flooring? Jesus commands us to love one another. Not just those that fit into our mold.
Maybe I need to see things more gray.
